The Government have recognised how important it is for people with mobility needs to get clear and responsible guidance on the purchase and safe use of mobility scooters and powerchairs.
The Department for Transport is introducing an accreditation scheme for stockists of mobility products. The aim is to provide peace of mind for customers that they are getting advice based on their individual needs, and guidance on how to drive safely once out and about with their new mobility product.
